  Some takes on Isntreal and Palestine in this movie were... yikes to say the least. Such a promising start, political opinions wise, but goes south really fast :/ (the mother mothered tho)

  I feel like it would've been better if it wasn't a musical because all of the songs sucked absolute a**. But then again how much better can a movie about mexico be when it's written by a french guy who thought he didn't need to do research and portrayed every single stereotype in the book. I simply cannot understand how this can be nominated for an oscar, let alone 13
