    I’m shocked at how much I enjoyed this!

    The first 25 minutes or so on Krypton were a bit of a slog. I’m just not a fan of that 70s sci-fi aesthetic. But once we get to Earth, the movie really takes off. You just get to see Superman do cool stuff and help people. And I absolutely adore Christopher Reeves’ performance as Clark Kent. It just works so well. I know there’s a decline at some point in this series but I’m excited to keep going. Really really solid watch. Big recommendation

    I watched this mainly for the whole “who the hell is Robbie Williams” thing. And the fact that this absolutely bombed at the box office due to Americans lack of knowledge of this man. 

    I’ll say this is absolutely fantastic! It’s a shame that this bombed so hard because despite not knowing who our protagonist was, the movie does an excellent job of explaining his background and making him charismatic enough to root for.

    A near The Whale level of disappointment.

    Mickey 17 is Bong Joon Ho’s follow up to his incredible film Parasite. I loved the premise, I LOVE Robert Pattinson and I really enjoyed Parasite when I saw it. How could this not be a recipe for success?
