  I'm not quite sure what has kept me thinking about and wanting to engage with this world and story over the years, but I keep coming back. The merging of two of my favorite sci-fi narrative devices—androids becoming in touch with their humanity and the longing for an unachievable destination that masks one's ability to appreciate the present—probably has something to do with it. At this point, this is probably the sequel I would most want to see happen behind another Kelvin Star Trek film.

  Also, Bill Pope just doesn't miss, man.

  Paul Giamatti's unexpected role reprisal in reading for John Adams almost makes up for him not appearing in No Way Home. Safe to say, this is the cameo of the year, folks. Absolutely floored.
