  Unfunny borat version of early 2010s vice docs 

  The two major points of the project being that organizations pitted the country against each other for profit, and that people who believe in conspiracy theories do so to find meaning in their otherwise failed lives, seems to completely contradict itself

  Civil war in America seen through the lens of a traveling into to journalism / photo I course.

  Besides the cowardliness of the film’s overt lack of detail and politics, it’s inherently a movie about the ethics of war journalism and photography’s exploitivity, without providing insightful perspective on either. At one point Spaeny’s character is scanning film on her iPhone and dunst stops her on one of a man dying and says “that’s a great picture” and then the scene ends

  They also stop at a store and try on clothes in the middle of the movie for what seems like a hour?
