Gangubai Kathiawadi 2022
This was the first time I watched an SLB film, I was absolutely blown away by Gangubai. The visuals were so beautiful and especially the colour grading truly amazing. The film tackled a complex and sensitive issue of prostitution really well although I felt there was room for deeper exploration of Gangubai's personal journey.
The film's use of contrast was particularly striking.

i cant actually believe it took me SO LONG to watch this masterpiece of a film! This was such a beautiful film i absolutely loved it. With the most inhuman, frustrating, hostile environment there can be some moments of peace and freedom was just so fascinating.
