Something about the way Studio Ghibli films are drawn makes me feel like home. I didn't watch these movies growing up, but they still carry with them an air of nostalgia that is very difficult to shake off. I love the magical realism of it all and I absolutely adore Chihiro. Miyazaki is an absolute master at writing unforgettable characters and she is no exception

But that's just a theory, a GAME THEORY)

Michael Cera kinda plays the same character in every movie huh? (and all of them are just like me for real)
In all seriousness, this is just the quintessential high school movie, it feels perfect for a movie night with friends. It feels real. The bully is just another fucking loser, and not the typical jock, and the main characters also kinda bully another kid. They're awkward and mean, and codependent and also really funny and they get the girl in the end so does the other stuff actually matter?Translated from by
