  GODDDD
  i want more cartoony colourful full vibrant characters in cinema again. i don’t think a wes anderson film has touched me in the way this one has and its popularity is more than justified to me, it truly is a perfect film for me in every sense of the word. on rewatch i see myself finding the small things that build up each of the  characters’ world so beautifully, immersion is easy.

  i love the subtleties that present within the birth orders of siblings.

  and of course the eldest and it’s mirroring with the mother and where the younger siblings misunderstand him a lot of the time and he doesn’t correct them. it makes me want to cry because it’s portrayed so well. i love when wes anderson (and any director for that matter) tackle the beauty of siblings and how no other dynamic in the world will encompass such love as it.

  i loved when he gifted him the belt and then dashed the belt in his face and then fought about it.
