You shouldn't go to see this film expecting to see a scenario with multiple twists and turns or breathtaking shots. Past lives is simple, modestly staged and in total harmony with its story. The introductory scene plunges us straight into the film, announcing its subject: who are we?
We'll spend the whole film trying to answer this question through a series of interrogations.

Dream Scenario 2023
A film well anchored in its time, a description of our world, our society and its superficiality. The film is perhaps a little too exaggerated, pushed to its limits. But in the end, maybe that's the point of the film and what makes it interesting.
