What a film. At first was very reluctant to watch any movies by studio Ghibli, but I decided to give this one a shot. Definitely a great idea and I definitely enjoyed the journey. Around the first 30-40 min the film felt a bit slow. I also didn’t enjoy Sophie’s character at first either. After that mark however it definitely started to get better. La La Land 2016
3rd time watching this movie after 4 years and oh my gosh, it was just as good as I remembered. The cinematography and the emotions that were exhibited on the cast was phenomenal. The musical aspects were iffy at first but, they do it so wonderful in this movie. I don’t even like musicals and such, but La La Land did it so well that everyone could enjoy. The ending always tears me apart. Overall the movie is a spectacular watch and definitely recommended. 9.5/10.
