    Spectacular, darkly funny... and about an hour too long. I really wanted to like this but it felt like there were enough ideas for 3 films here, all jostling for space - a bad adaptation of a good book. Think I'd've preferred a simpler clone ethics story, as much as I loved the shitty croissants. R Patz gives his best though, specially when he's cravin those oxys!

    Saw an early screening via LFF on tour. Really funny satire on the struggles of motherhood, with some uneasy cringe comedy and body horror moments. The dog transformation is handled slowly and you enjoy spotting the slow changes in Amy Adams behaviour. She is great and so is the 3 year old opposite her!

    Spooky, slurpy and a little bit sexy! Hells hooves there were some awesome sequences in this. Loved 1800s Wisburg, the plague ship, the dreams, all the incredible practical effects! Lily-Rose Depp and Simon McBurney going full weird. Willem Dafoe being a gurning SWISS! witch doctor. Lovely stuff.
