  Despite my prior review on Sonic 2 where I had critiqued the length of the film, I felt that this movie filled the length well with the story line. I enjoyed the introduction of shadow and showing his struggle and villain story transition into using his anger to channel ultimate good in the world. Knuckles is a fantastic support character and may be my favorite character in the movie. Really enjoyed this one.

  I enjoyed the depiction of the introduction Sonic’s world and also found some great comedy in Sonic’s understanding and grasp on the human world. Donut Lord is cinematic gold. Tom is a great character and thought the two were a great duo throughout. Dr. Eggman’s character can get a little bit tiring at times.

  Definitely a better storyline than Sonic 1 with the introduction of Knuckles and Tails. Unfortunately, there is no need in my mind for this movie to be 2 hours long. Despite a more attractive storyline that built very well off of Sonic 1, I felt the execution could have been better - primarily due to duration of the film.
