  Can't say it was too deep or some sort of revelation and Colin Firth's character is about the only one who was given enough screen time and characterisation but it's kind of movie which makes you leave the cinema with the smile on your face. Really nice and stuff

  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014

  Can't help but like it. Wasn't major Turtles fan growing up but I guess I am familiar with them enough. The film stays loyal to Turtles formula: Turtles stick to their archetypes (leader, goofball, nerd, tough guy) and have their asses kicked by Shredder before they release importance of team work and come out at top. Highlight of the movie was turtles' rap in elevator. For this alone I give it four stars. That's about it, thanks for reading.

  For modern film viewer whose roots are firmly in modern stuff it's a bit problematic to appreciate stuff like this.
