My thoughts while and after watching:
I didn’t care about any of the characters, they had no depth at all. The most likable character was the billionaire at the end.
The movie consists of 90% repetitive monologues that try to sound meaningful.
In the end, the movie is just a plain revenge story. I was expecting more after the first chapter.
Although it’s labeled as Thriller, it was never thrilling.

First thoughts: Great first half, a bit too predictable towards the end.
The storytelling and the tension that built up to the first appearance of the aliens were great, but towards the end, it felt like an average action movie. Also, I would have liked to know more about the aliens. Perhaps they were shown too frequently. It made them less mysterious and frightening, in my opinion.
Still, a good sequel!

After all, it seems I Care a Lot about this movie
First of all, Rosamund Pike did a fantastic job! I despised her from the beginning. But that’s also the main problem with this movie for me: the main character is the villain and so unpleasant that she has nothing, and I mean nothing, that could make you root for her in the slightest. Honestly, I spent the whole movie waiting for the last scene.
