I really wanted to like The Upside. I really did, Bryan Cranston is a talented actor and Kevin Hart is ok but it all kind of fell flat for me. There was some moments of humour but those moments felt like they came from Kevin and Bryan instead of the script.

I thought that this piece was a masterclass in how to write a clever, witty and engaging screenplay.
