I watched it with my dog and she thought it was a captivating and unsettling movie. She was quietly growling the whole time. Usually if the movie has a dog in it they actually show the dog. In this case the dog is usually out of sight/just off camera. You often will hear the dog bark or hear people yelling at the dog but they don’t really show it.
I had similar feelings about the movie but more with the holocaust aspect of it
