  I would give this a just above okay. Just kind of Wes Anderson-ed out at this point, especially his live action stuff. It will always still be a fun watch, his visual style and witty dry humor standout as always but I felt the story was a bit too clunky and was jumping around timeline wise too much for me personally. Absolutely love the miniature set pieces and art style and that’s a big pop for me. Honestly think Wes should stick to making more animated films or way more miniature set pieces. That’s when he’s in his bag.

  Man, I just couldn’t look away from this film. What a beautiful showcase of a three act narrative and compare/contrast of different eras of your life and romances along with it. How you change but you’re still that little boy or girl deep down. Your love can be meant to be once but now is just out of reach. Tough but beautiful. Greta Lee was a standout. Wonderfully done.
