My greatest joy about this movie’s existence is that I can recommend it to my mom based on her love of Ireland and Irish history and culture, and thus I think she’ll actually enjoy because while it’s profane and promotes rampant drug use, it’s not overly violent, is funny, and has a real beating heart at its center.
Also that the actual band play themselves is truly extraordinary because they are all so so good.
