Throw in some world class performances from some legendary actors (Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson), and the historical and cultural significance that this holds. Amazing work.

Arrival 2016
Wow. Without a doubt the best written film I’ve seen to date. To execute such a reality bending concept so carefully. So clever. Everything clicks and no question is left unanswered.
There’s a slight anti-eastern propaganda that unfortunately seeps in, but of course America has to be the hero in Hollywood. If you can look past that then is genuinely flawless.

This dives into a masculine culture that for me is under-examined and misunderstood within society. The lost group thinkers with no real purpose, dying for some acceptance and feeling.
Danny Dyer plays his role fantastically; the member of the group who is at least trying to think and behave correctly, but his inability to isolate himself from said group keeps bringing him trouble. He has to be there for his mates, even at his own detriment.
