Poor Things 2023
BELLLAAAAAAAA.
The joy and awkwardness of experiencing the world for the first time is hard to describe, and even more difficult to pull off when you’re in a surrealist fever dream.
I knew nothing about this movie going in, and was glad I pushed through. I don’t think I can compare it to anything I’ve ever seen, so that gets the highest marks from me.
It is a neat storytelling mechanism to reach clarity at the same pace Bella’s intellect…
