    The Killer is Finchers newest addition to his filmography. He tries to bring fresh wind to the "John Wick" style Action-Thriller by mixing dark humor and social commentary into the movie.
    This suceeds partly with the hypocrisy of the narrator, aswell as the stunt choreography being highlights.
    Unfortunately the movie falls apart in most other aspects. The main character, played by Michael Fassbender, is not a very compelling or interesting character and his development seems rather random than based on…

    Very impressive movie from a technical and acting standpoint. Especially Cilian Murphy and RDJ have standout performances. Furthermore the movie looks breathtaking and the sound will blow you away. This gets tinted by a unnecessary convoluted narrative structure, which leads to a first act that is confusing and almost random at times. In addition to that the women get very little room to breathe and thus seem very shallow for the most part.

    All in all it's still a very solid movie, that could have been a masterpiece, if Christopher Nolan varied a bit more from his typical style.
