About halfway through the movie, a guy lands on the roof of the old bean factory, repels down the wall, and is immediately shot by a terrorist. Another undercover officer is beaten with 2x4s and shot in the back with a shotgun. The police chief responds to this string of events by doing an interview where he tells the news anchor to start an Italian restaurant. Things just keep happening in this movie regardless of whether they advance the plot in any way.
