The Zone of Interest 2023
There were definitely jarring themes and beautiful shots. Shots that made your stomach churn a bit and made the viewer feel the weight of what was going on. But there was no big moment. No turning point. It was kind of mundane which I guess was kind of a point of the film. But the point of the film was made in the first 10 mins and then it didn’t progress from there. Was something left to be desired.
