Cinema Paradiso 1988
TOP 4 ALERTTT….I recently had the pleasure of seeing this at the Academy Museum followed by a Q&A with Tornatore himself. I’ve seen this film probably 10 times, so given that I know the plot by heart, I trusted myself to keep it together watching this so close to the director (somehow he and his family sat in my same row). Andddd of course I was WRONG. Guaranteed water works every time.
