Nickel Boys 2024
i've been thinking for over 32 hours about this movie almost compulsively. if you haven't already, you must watch this movie. and if you already have, please watch it again with me. i can't stop thinking about nickel boys.
this film is immaculate. RaMell Ross is on another level. he's making art for the history books and for the parts of the human psyche/heart we need. at once devastating and so inspiring, so full of hope; the transference of love and resiliency. best film of the year and potentially of the decade.
