wafflei think it just shows the most ultimate sacrifice someone can make in the efforts of love and by nature we are primal and we arenβt as human as we think we are and their love doesnβt subvert that, yet lee was willing to accept that and in his final moments alive he chose pain and suffering as a final and true act of love for maren as they likely both recognisedβ¦
