The Long Game 2023
I am a sucker for an underdog story and being a true story makes it that much better. Was it a bit cheesy at times? Definitely, but you’re not watching this expecting an Oscar. The story of these young golfers who push racial boundaries is an easy and uplifting watch, especially if you enjoy golf.

Alien: Romulus 2024
One word to describe this movie - horrendous. With that said I hate scary movies and was told by reputable sources it was “sci-fi maybe thriller”. I should’ve listened to google when it told me “horror”. If you are like me, don’t waste your time watching this movie. It is 2 hours of your life you will never get back. Alien: Romulus should be thanking me for the full star, half-star was totally in play. At least the actors tried hard.

Blink Twice 2024
Solid directorial debut by Zoe Kravitz. Good cast, storyline, and a handful of good twists. I do not love thrillers, but will keep an eye out for Kravitz’s next project if she continues directing.
