Mission: Impossible II 2000
Really wanted to have been wrong about this. But it’s somehow worse than I remembered… everything just feels really flat, even the Zimmer score feels half baked. Only really becomes a Mission Impossible film towards the end of act 3. But hey, 1 dud out of 7 is not a bad strike rate.

TFF 2024: Given the underlying story this had the potential to be a really touching dive into how this family deal with a fairly rough situation. What it actually does is just show us some holiday footage seemingly at random with very little narrative connecting it back to the challenges the family faced.
That cable car scene was pretty terrifying though, especially given I have to get a cable car home after the showing..
