A light 4. I genuinely enjoyed most of this film but some of the teen dialogue was too unrealistic and took me out of the zone.

This movie sheds some uncomfortable light on the brutality of the frontier wars that occurred indiscriminately across most pockets of Indigenous Australia. It's a story that of course is not new. But the way in which it is told seems to centralise Aboriginal storytelling and actors in a way that few movies of this genre attempt to do.
