I would highly recommend half watching this. Challenge gender norms by watching it while working on your motorbike if you're a WOMAN or while embroidering if you're a MAN. With some luck you'll miss the extremely 80s views on gender but you'll still catch michael keaton being cute. The parts where he is hanging out with his girlies are actually wholesome if they didn't have to put in the character that takes the whole one-to-many male-female platonic relationship that could have been a meaningful thing and whipes its ass with it.

Really well made dumb movie for dumbs, there's so many better choices if you want mystery that leads to something gratifying. Even specifically ones about finding a successor, candidates with interwoven controversies, rumors etc. etc. Just watch Succession.
It's fine though I was just expecting a lot more from a strong intriguing start and all the talk. Great performances and all. Entertaining but I won't be thinking about this one for long.
