“We’re not even a couple, we barely know each other”

What do you get when you mix Scream and My Bloody Valentine? The answer, Heart Eyes.  A mixture of gory slasher and sweet rom-com. I’ve never seen the premise of a film where the two main characters fall in love whilst being chased by a sadistic serial killer who slays couples on Valentine’s Day.

Amusing to see Devon Sawa in this film where the kills were Final Destination-esque.

    Killer soundtrack though!!

“Just relax. Remember to smile and act happy.”

Firstly, can we please have a film role where Sophie Thatcher is not suffering, like a sweet rom com.

Next level M3GAN with adult themes. Some depth in the plot is missing, the overall direction of the film, barring a few twists, is maybe a bit too predictable. This reminded me a bit of Blink Twice.

I hope that future advanced technology doesn’t end up like this though.

It seems like no one really notices Eun-Hee’s existence until she meets her new Chinese tutor Young-Ji, who gives her a sense of hope that she does matter and that the…

“Three things cannot long be hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth”

I can see why this was released on Valentine’s Day. This was a genre masher with elements of a rom com, horror, action and thriller.

I saw a few reviews reference a Taylor Swift video, ‘You belong with me’ as inspiration for this film and I can see why. This was definitely a film of 2 halves, with romance for the first half and then a hellish…
