  I would have preferred that the style of the period in which the story takes place was fully adapted, especially through the music, it is a kind of adaptation of the book with modern touches that I found the setting fantastic, cozy and elegant but obviously not in the same way as the book, it is adapted to be a great movie but I deny that it captures the essence of the Great Gatsby.
