i thoroughly enjoyed this film - i havent really seen a sci fi film where there’s an active character narration, which is cool and i think harks back to the format of book (still need to read this one!). robert pattinson delivered a hilarious, wonderful, and NUANCED performance that i was extremely impressed by. mark ruffalo and toni collette were soooo much more hilarious than i expected, which was a wonderful surprise. i told my friend if you like nathan for you you’d like this humor. all in all, an enjoyably different movie from bong joon ho that still emphasized satire and humor.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
during the end scene i just heard sniffles throughout the theater, and then the whole film really set in. this was a rewatch, but watching it in the theater made it feel so much more real - more terrifying, more twisted, more heartbreaking. rip laura palmer fr
