  If your looking for a more mysterious, surreal version of virgin suicides look no further. This masterpiece is so visually stunning and chilling at the same time, shot in a small town focusing on a family wrecked by an alcoholic father whos decisions caused the leaving of the mother, three young daughters are left to deal with the actions of their strict but slob of a father. The scenery in this film may ring of comfort and slow town vapid gossip but the small pieces of humanity showed in this film are oddly disturbing.

  If you’ve ever asked yourself “how inorganically can I throw in rape, incest, misogyny, and the male fantasy of it all into one hour and 30 min of a movie” you wouldn’t be the first. I am completely astounded by this falsehood of women beats the world this bs of a movie is.  Only if there was a beautiful little christian farmer boy to pick up every pig beaten women, the world would be such a better place don’t you…
