  I deeply hated this movie. However, I love Wonka as a character. Growing up with Gene Wilder as Wonka, I had trouble buying this was his origin story. 

  But it’s fine, I love Timmy - so excited for DUNE 2. Also idk if it’s just me… but a CGI Oompa Loompa is like such a beat role for Hugh Grant imo.

  This movie didn’t fall short in acting. Stunning cast. However, for a biopic there was a massive gap understanding Priscilla emotionally. We watched her do, as opposed to understand how she thought. No introspection, which I think left the movie feeling flat and more like a montage of her life rather than an arched retelling of the tragic romance that propelled a young girl into the complex woman she is today.

  Very Cruel Intentions of this time, which is one of my favorite movies. I thought the ending was a little incongruent tonally from the rest. However, I later found out Barry fucking Jacobs grave was his own improv, so I felt validated that it wasn’t Greta’s idea. But J’adore Barry dancing naked through the mansion. Can’t stop listening to the soundtrack. Raunchy, a little gross, but invigorating in many ways. 

  
  Def not my favorite movie ever. However, I love how Greta always carves out a new space in film with her originality.
