  Visually delicious. Pacing reminds me of older films. Persona vibes, Maya Deren vibes. Surrealism in full force. Not every movie needs a plot to achieve a feeling.

  Wahhh!! I wanna be a kid again! Take me back to the first summer my single father took me on vacation at 12 to see the ocean for the first time!!! This gutted me ripped my heart out and put it on display for everyone to see. I was totally fine until my partner asked me what I thought about it and I literally burst into tears! Wahhh!!!

  I’ll be the first to tell you I’m not a huge fan of We’d Andersons films as far as context goes. He has a keen eye for GORGEOUS delectable scenes. Most the time though I find his movies to be lack luster plot wise or a little too dialogue heavy (but not in a good way and no I won’t elaborate) 
  This one was quality. Cinematically divine as always. Not sure if Wes is just growing on me overtime or what but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A lot of the dialogue (especially the window scenes) felt poetic.
