The Last Showgirl 2024
Film didn’t take the premise as far emotionally as I feel it could extend. Direction and editing was questionable at times.
That being said this would’ve deserved Oscar recognition for Original Song and earned Jamie Lee Curtis her first Oscar over EEAAO

Bfi LFF 2022 - Screening 3/6
Truly amazing, such a phemonal performance from Fraser, I will riot if he gets no academy recognition let alone winning. The rest of the cast was great, the screenplay was elite with its irony among characters and all their flaws. A wildly interconnected story for a solo setting piece. Cinematography and production design was eerie and gloomy. A truly gut wrenching drama that lead my mates to nearly shed tears. It's going to be hard to forget this piece of craft and I hope the best for the cast and directors' futures.
