  it’s hard to separate my nostalgia for this specific musical from an objective analysis of this film. all i’ll say is, the first note of no one mourns the wicked was so powerful, i instantly teared up in the theater. for me, that is enough.

  seeing this movie for the second time was crazy. ludwig göransson is maybe the best film composer of our time, and i am so glad he worked on this film. felt like i didn’t need to see cillian murphy’s balls again though. i hate nuclear weapons!
