Erasure 2024
Amazing short film from these new filmmakers. They bring light to an issue that needs to be addressed for the Trans community. The “road blocks” faced by this community should not exist in the health care system as demonstrated in this film. It saddens me that this is now politicized. The dramatization showing the fear element of what transpires and snowballs here are real fears faced daily in the LBGTQ community. Spooky.

Frigid 2024
Colombo/Peter Falk would have loved to solve this mystery. From inception to close, I was on the edge of my seat gripped by the auditory delights of the haunting background music. What a debut by a young filmmaker on his quest to woo his audience with a film noir shot on a Bolex 16mm camera. My favorite genre of film. A bold and authentic statement was made to this craft by Clay Kesling. I look forward to seeing his future creations.
