You can tell that this movie is from the early 2000's but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great, psychological and mysterious movie. I thought that Ryan Gosling executed his role of a suicidal, depressed college student exceptionally well. This was highlighted by his tone of voice, facial expressions and body language.
