Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
for me, the highlight was definitely the world building. that town felt authentic, the mix of people and wardrobes felt real, and the scenery and land was beautiful. lily gladstone deserves all of the awards!!
that being said, leo was fine and de niro reverted back to his normal accent. i disliked how they tried to make leo’s character likable and paint him as a loving husband despite his horrid behavior. I also liked the book because it dived into the investigations themselves so I enjoyed the second half better than the first.
