Ash 2025
Absolutely saved by the final act.
The rest of the film was a bit tough to get through, because of how slow it is, but the final act is genuinely some of the best I’ve seen this year.
Great score and is surprisingly very beautiful visually. I just wish the whole film was as good as the ending. Overall though, I was left pretty satisfied. I had no expectations going in, flying lotus might be a name to look out for in the horror genre moving foward.

Borderline 2025
Samara Weaving really is special… she’s so good that she is enough to carry an entire film on her back.
This is all over the place, I was expecting something a little different after watching the trailer, but it’s fun. It has a ton of issues, mainly how slow it is and how many characters they throw in your face, but Samara Weaving makes up for it, at least enough to make the film enjoyable.
2025 horror sucks ass so far, but I have high Hopes for what we’re getting in May.

Can really talk about how Creative Oz is with these films all day, he’s a fun filmmaker and I’m very excited to see what he’s cooking next because it feels like he’s shitting out new stuff a lot.
As for the monkey it’s very middle of the road, it’s filed with issues, mainly the lack of a good story. Other things you can kind of look past and are more nitpicky but if you enjoy gore fest stuff with shitty…
