This is one of the exceptions to my short film 10/10 ranking. I have watched this video countless times over the years, and every time, it still makes me laugh. The fact that the creator is able to go over billions of years of history in just under 20 minutes is astonishing. Harvie Krumpet is an Australian short film which tells the story of the titular Harvie Krumpet, an intellectually disabled man who struggles, yet perseveres through life. The film uses claymation to tell its tale in such a crafty and masterful way that’s very impressive. There are few voice roles, with the most prominent being the narrator, played by Geoffrey Rush.
