Despite being predictable and having only a couple decent scares, Leigh Whannel’s Wolf Man still has enough to offer with good performances, important themes, and a great score. With that being said, one can’t help but feel like there was some wasted potential with this.

I prefer this ever so slightly over the original just because it has a more charismatic version of Freddy Krueger - he’s not as frightening as in the original but he has more of a personality in this movie and the one liners he drops are so iconic (“WELCOME TO PRIME TIME BITCH”).
