    I prefer this ever so slightly over the original just because it has a more charismatic version of Freddy Krueger - he’s not as frightening as in the original but he has more of a personality in this movie and the one liners he drops are so iconic (“WELCOME TO PRIME TIME BITCH”). The kills are creative and memorable and Nancy feels like a better character in this movie than the original. This movie falters by having lame side characters…
