A lot would compare it to Spider-Verse which definitely paved the way for it to look like this but it has it's own distinct look. Whereas Spider-Verse looks like a vibrant comicbook leaping off the page, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem looks like a teen's aggressive notebook sketches oozing off the pages which perfectly embodies this film. Turning Red 2022
Turning Red is good.
The writing is so good. Characters truly feel like 13 year olds and how they would talk.
This film feels more ...adult I guess? than most Pixar films in terms of what they can mention like, it's crazy to hear mentions of drugs & strippers in a Pixar movie but I'm glad they can, it makes it feel more real.
I feel like Turning Red's message is way more basic than Soul's & Luca's
