  Cinematography, soundtrack and production were all really good!! I do wish the writing was a bit more cohesive so the audience could have a better understanding of the connection btwn the friends. The fact that this is based on a true story def gave me chills…those friends are real ones tho. Their antics are pretty immature and on brand for Mallu men in their 30’s, but their love and determination to save their friend is heart-warming and inspiring. Will be thinking about accidentally falling into 900 ft caves now 😅 giving me Malootty levels of terror at night

  It’s been a while for me in terms of Malayalam folk-horror, but the movie was beautifully done and was an incredible homage/amalgamation of various films in the genre spanning from other Indian movies to horror/psychological thrillers from other countries. The directing choices were fantastic, including the soundtrack and choice to have the film in black & white. The main cast was fantastic too.

Following
