Wow does this movie really make you hate the antagonists Inez and Paul. Pedant! I love the historical and artistic references. A beautiful story about how a young writer leaves his hectic American lifestyle and stuck up cheating fiance to pursue his “crazy” dreams to become a great writer/artist living in Paris. Owen Wilson with his mild mannered and easy going personality was perfectly casted for this role.
