A great addition to this franchise. I didn’t feel like it took anything away from the story we know so far but at the same time, I wanted a little more insight into the aliens and why this is all happening. I think for like a minutes we saw a huge “queen” alien but we never saw it again so maybe they’re saving that plot point for the third movie

The whole movie was worth that one hotel scene. Did not expect the story to be told in a non linear way which was interesting. The soundtrack was amazing and at least should’ve been nominated at the Oscar’s. Oh , and all three of them are fucked up.

Re-doing this because I watched it all the way through for the first time during the imax re-release , and I’m so glad I did. The visuals alone were stunning. My jaw legitimately dropped at almost all the shits of outer space. The sound design was so good it felt like the theater was rumbling with the ship in the movie. I cried three times which I did not expect but was definitely deserved. Watch this movie on the biggest screen you can find
