Nickel Boys 2024
One of those movies where the plot feels like it has no continuity and you get frustrated trying to follow along and then you get to the end and something clicks and you go wow what a fantastic, devastating story told so incredibly artfully.
So many beautiful shots in this movie, had me thinking about it for days afterwards and the more I thought about it the more I liked it.

Binged it, cried, was riveted. Made me think about the essay about how all horror tropes in film are things women fear in everyday life reimagined as extreme situations in which men would feel those same feelings. Puts it into perspective how violating and scary stalking is. Vulnerable story.
