Nothing to romanticise about the sex pistols, could’ve gone down a tortured genius route about Sid Vicious but they didn’t and I think it was perfectly executed. Gary Oldman did very well playing the part.

24 Hour Party People 2002
Whole Manchester scene and not one word of the Smiths, I know it’s about Factory Records but still. They also rushed Ian Curtis’ death quite quickly and morbidly, put some respect on the man. Other than that I’m glad they included the Happy Mondays crack island story and overall, I really enjoyed it
