In all my years I haven't watched a film that reeked so crudely of misogyny and clear hatred for its protagonist. The storyline is pure fiction fronting as biography which leads the iconic Monroe through trauma and abuse which is grotesquely captured in excess through the perverted lens of the director.
It is well known that the real life icon Monroe experienced trauma and deep loss in her lifetime so to now conjure up more exploitation for sake of "art"…

i think this all-star cast went to waste with this convoluted yet somehow predictable story line. that being said it was still a fun watch and the nods to pop-culture were at times cheesy but overall pleasurable.
i didn't hate watching yet but I definitely wouldn't watch it again
